DJ Marcus Purnell (djMP) is excited to return to the stage with his powerful tribal and vocal beats that have dance floors taking advantage of Vancouver BC’s latest addition to TFD’s DJ roster.

Purnell offer’s Vancouver an extensive resume with headlining appearances across North America from Miami to Honolulu and San Dieg, San Francisco to Vancouver. djMP returned to the stage this year marking his first appearance at Whistler since he was first heard at the closing party for Altitude 11, the event also marked Purnell’s Vancouver BC 2011 debut with The Flame and the Dame Events (TFD). Purnell made waves when WinterPRIDE 2011 had to make some last minute DJ lineup changes due to the severe weather in Chicago that has prevented DJ Ted Eiel to come out to Whistler for the Furrocious Party, Friday, February 4th.

djMP headlined the GuySpy Villag-T Dance that weekend wtih Hed Kandi North America starting off the the Apres Ski party. djMP then moved on up to headline the Furrocious Party from 9-2AM at the Whistler Conference Centre replacing DJ Ted Eiel.

Marcus has recently relocated to Vancouver and joined the team at TFD. Purnell has a unique opportunity to showcase his sound of rolling Progressive-House and Tribal rhythms—and also his ability to power up vocal sets that will surely turn heads. Marcus’ prior resume includes residencies in San Francisco with Club Universe, the End UP, and appearances from Miami’s Billboard LIVE, Winter Party, GayDays (Orlando), Folsom Street Fair, and FRESH! (Honolulu).

Coming events in 2011 include the aggressive fetish event HARD presented by Priape at Vancouver’s hot Club 560 on Friday November 4th, 2011.
